La Ballena Alegre Celebrates 20 Years of Collaboration with Casal dels Infants

Camping Bungalow Resort & Spa La Ballena Alegre (BAM Resorts), located in Sant Pere Pescador, is commemorating 20 years of continuous collaboration with Casal dels Infants, a leading social organization in Catalonia that works to ensure children, young people, and families in vulnerable situations have access to educational opportunities and personal development.

Over these two decades, La Ballena Alegre has maintained a strong and lasting relationship with the organization, contributing to the support of its programs and activities. Casal dels Infants has been working for more than forty years in neighborhoods facing significant social challenges across Catalonia, promoting educational projects, family support initiatives, and social and labor integration programs for young people.

Headquartered in Barcelona, Casal dels Infants operates centers in the municipalities of Salt (Girona), the Raval neighborhood of Barcelona, Badalona, the La Mina neighborhood of Sant Adrià del Besós, Santa Coloma de Gramenet, and Tangier, Morocco.

“Sustainability is not limited to environmental management. It also has a social dimension. We have been collaborating with Casal dels Infants for twenty years because we share the conviction that all children and young people should have opportunities to develop their life projects, regardless of the circumstances into which they were born,” explains Àlex Trias, a member of the BAM Resorts management team.

Over the years, La Ballena Alegre has promoted a management model based on values such as closeness, respect for the local area, and commitment to the community. In this context, its collaboration with Casal dels Infants has become one of the most significant social initiatives in its history.

“The celebration of this anniversary highlights a partnership that has endured over time and reflects our commitment to contributing, through the tourism sector, to the construction of a more cohesive society with greater opportunities for everyone,” says Àlex Trias.
